Is there a state office in New Mexico similar to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission?

I am looking for information concerning a mineral property I own in Rio Arriba NM, Sec 12-24N-1W. I would like to find out if there is any production on it.

In New Mexico is there a state entity to tracks wells like the Oklahoma Corporation Commission does?

Section 12 had one well drilled to the Pictured Cliffs in 1963.  Prior to the 11/20/95 plugging the E J Hooten produced 197,854 Mcf's.  The closest current production is located in the very NE corner of Section 14.  I could find no township leasing since 1/01/07.

Linn, where did you find all this information? Was it from the above cited link?

    Patt & Gail:

Please see Resources above and click on the New Mexico site.  You can research by section, township & range.

Yep OK. & N.M. have the best websites I've found that are mineral/royalty owner friendly. Been a few years since I have posted here. Been letting the mineral attorney do the legwork on deals and D/O'S and so forth. EXPENSIVE! But worth the cost I think. Lots of activity in Eddy County NM. these last few years. Am grateful.
