‘Fracknation’ and Information Part of Montrose Gathering

Bitter cold temperatures did not deter approximately 40 people from gathering at the Montrose VFW on the night of Jan. 22 for a party to celebrate the premier of the feature documentary film, Fracknation: The Truth Runs Deep.
The film is the work of investigative journalist Phelim McAleer and follows his trek across the United States and Europe to explore the science behind claims made by environmentalist groups that “fracking” (hydraulic fracturing) done by the natural gas industry is harmful to the environment and the public.
