Oklahoma-NARO Invites You to the OK-NARO 2013 Convention

Register early for the OK-NARO Annual Convention to be held May 9 & 10 at the recently renovated and updated Hyatt Regency Tulsa Hotel, 100 East 2^nd Street in Tulsa, OK.  The Hyatt Regency Tulsa sits in the heart of Tulsa’s vibrant business, entertainment and cultural districts. Prior to the convention, on Wednesday, May 8, a special excursion is planned for those who wish to participate for a nominal fee; a visit to the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch, where a luncheon will be served. Then the chartered motor coach will take you on to the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum, the largest private gun collection in the world and a whole lot more! Over 50,000 items to see and experience….saddles, spurs, local ranching brands, German beer steins, World War I posters, military weapons, John Rogers statuary, Native American artifacts…something for everyone. In fact, this place is loaded!  A special social mixer will be held at the hotel that evening from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. This social event is open to all OK-NARO members and our sponsors and exhibitors.

The convention seminars will cover a wide range of topics of interest to Oklahoma royalty owners, speakers are currently being confirmed to provide Oklahoma royalty owners a full schedule of information regarding regulation and mineral management.  One seminar will be a presentation by Oklahoma attorney Tim Dowd, on “Oklahoma Oil & Gas Law for Royalty Owners.” There will be a “Mock Pooling Hearing” put on by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission to give Oklahoma royalty owners insight as to what they should expect at a Pooling Hearing. “Internet Resources for Royalty Owners” will be presented by Jack Fleet; in addition there will be the always popular “Mineral Management 101” and many more informative and interesting topics for Oklahoma royalty owners.

Networking is always an important part of the NARO experience and at the OK-NARO convention attendees will have time to network and socialize with friends and to meet new people at our western themed “Royalty Owner Round-Up” reception on Thursday evening.
